Introduction

The effectiveness of a research-based writing has a lot of criteria. Based on this statement, this is a bad example of research-based writing because the writers obviously didn't understand what the major points are. They lost the direction. However, we found this report still follow the procedure. First, the writers had a clear idea they understand this report's purpose statement, and this element is a basic criterion for this report. Second, the report has central focus. Third, the report has a correct form when they cite to other materials. All of above are the criteria for the report. The purpose of this report is to analysis "Issue Related to Technology Utilization in SMEs" is an organizational report.

Analysis

Very Clearly Main Idea

It is apparent that the writer clearly has ideas about what they are doing. According to the third page of the paper, paragraph #3, we can see that this report has a clearly purpose. More importantly, all headlines in this report show readers a clearly outline of this report. Based on the ninth page of the paper, paragraph #3 the Conclusion, we find that the purpose of this report appears again. Therefore, the writers had clearly ideas about what they are doing.

Well Focus on the Purpose

The principal reason for our view is this report has a central focus. It is evident that on the third page of the paper, paragraph #2, we can see "there is agreement that SME productivity must be increased and that this can be achieved by the successful integration and use of ICT." This report investigates the reasons why SMEs do not utilize technology and provide recommendations for dealing with this situation. Therefore, this report has a clearly central focus about the reasons and recommendations

Properly Cited

There is another reason to support our opinion is that sources are properly cited and referenced. In fact on the third page of this paper, paragraph #1, we can see very formal index citations like "(Millis, 2008)". Besides, we can find very formal index citation in this whole report. More importantly, there is a clear and concise "References" in the last page of this report. Consequently, this report was properly cited and the index citations and references are very formal.

Conclusion

It is obvious that the writer had main idea in the introduction of this report. Furthermore we can find the central focus from the third page of the paper, paragraph #2. Moreover the sources were referenced very clearly and formal. Overall, we are convinced that this report is a good report with clear central idea, well focused on the purpose and properly cited.
