THE HEART OF WORSHIP

ROM. 6;13 ‘ Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourself to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and offer every part of yourself to Him as an instrument of righteousness.

- The Heart of Worship is SURRENDER.

-SURRENDER means SUBMISSION or to SUBMIT.

-SURRENDER means losing, and no one wants to be a loser. At hindi po ito magandang imahe, let say sa isang gera, ibigsabihin po ng surrender o pag suko sa isang gera ay pag papakita that you’re being defeated by your enemy.

-tulad po sa panahon ngayon, the world is teaching us to never give-up and never give-in. if winning is everything, then, surrender is unthinkable.

-mas gugustuhin pa nateng pag usapan ang about sa winning, succeeding, overcoming and conquering rather than yielding, submitting, obeying and surrendering.

-pero dapat po nateng tandaan that SURRENDERING or being SURRENDER to God is The Heart of Worship.

- kaya ang Title ko po ngayon is The Heart of Worship.

- sa pag papatuloy po, surrendering po is giving ourself to God, hindi dahil sa fear or duty, but because of love, baket?kasi, “He first Loved us”

- kung nakikita nyo po o pag aaralan ang ilang chapter sa Romans, Paul urge us to fully surrender our lives to God in Worship, sabe nga po sa “Rom. 12:1, So then, my friends, because of God’s great mercy to us offer yourself as a living sacrifice to God, dedicate to His service and pleasing to Him, This is the true worship that you should offer.”

- “Offer yourself to God is what Worship is all about,”

- at ang pag susurrender po ay hindi lang basta-basta, ‘oh cge Lord, eto na, sayo na ko” .Hindi po, but it is a act of consecration (nililinis, binabanal), making Jesus your Lord, taking up your cross, dying to self, yielding to the Spirit.

1. FEAR – “Can I Trust God?”

- TRUST is an essential ingredient to surrender.

Without trust takot kang isurreder yung whole being mo sa kanya.may doubt ka na baka ganto ganyan, mag fail yung marriage life nyo, etc. tulad din pos a Panginoon, baka kaya takot kang isurrender yung buhay mo sa Kanya kasi hindi buo yung tiwala mo sa Panginoon.

- Fear keeps us from surrendering, but love casts out all fear. The more na narerealize mo kung gaano ka kamahal ng Panginoon, the easier surrender becomes.

- gaano ka nga ba kamahal ng Panginoon?? Yun na lng sinabe Nya dib a na,” I would rather die, that to live without you” .. yun pa lang po na sinabe Nyang yun, matatakot ka pa ba sa mga posibleng mangyare?

2. PRIDE – “Admitting/Knowing our Limitations”
