During a time period where Sparta held its people together it was a beautiful city with rich culture and history. There was a very wealthy family called the Chatzi. The man was a named Diomedes Chatzi. He was a rich and successful banker and a popular merchant of Greece. He had a big heart for his family. But he was bitter and rotten to people who weren't family, lower class than him, slaves, and his enemies. There was Diomedes's wife and mother of his child Iris. Iris was very opposite from her husband Diomedes. She cared about her family with a heart also for everyone in Greece from, women, slaves, and strangers she cared for all. She would give money and food to the less fortunate. She was very nice, every time at any place. Diomedes and Iris also had a child. They had a beautiful daughter. Her name was Aglea Chatzi. She was a young lady who was very bright and finished her studies. She was at the age of most seniors of a high school of present day. She more like her mother with the caring heart she was also generous like her mother, but never bitter like her father. Most girls Aglea's age would be thinking of marriage and of a man to take them away and starting a family. But not Aglea she was all about her studying. She wanted to be a smart family member in the Chatzi family. Because her father had money she was allowed to go to school and took that opportunity. Aglea wants to become the first female astronomer of her time and sail the sea.

The after a few days went by, like any other day in the Chatzi family. Diomedes returned home on a long routine day of work. Diomedes walked in with joyful and pride. "I have great, no exciting, no wonderful news!" Diomedes yelled. Iris surprised about her husband's excitement "What's the most exciting news dear?" "I met a nice, wonderful gentleman today, and he also knows our daughter Aglea." Diomedes said in best he has ever been in. "Darling why is that so exciting?" Iris said while her back's turn cleaning the floor. Diomedes with a huge expression of happiness said "Because I arranged for him to be married to Aglea. Aglea is going to be married to Cleto Dekas!" After Aglea eavesdropped, she dashes down the stairs to her parents where they are talking in the kitchen, "No father! I cannot marry the man Cleto Dekas!". "Oh? Why is that so?" Diomedes's voice rising. Aglea takes a gulp before she speaks to Diomedes "Because that man Cleto, is a foul, disrespectful, misbehaved, using troll! Anything more abasement about him he will be the most hated man. That is why!". "I don't care what you think what he is, you are going to marry him under my blessing no matter what! If you don't like that so what! You're going to learn to love him as your husband!" Diomedes screamed at the top of his lungs. Aglea ran away to her room in tears.

Later that night Iris and Diomedes had a conversation about Aglea marring Cleto. "She doesn't need to marry him, let her choose who she wants to be with, in the future." Iris quietly speaking to Diomedes. "I don't care! I already gave Cleto my blessing to marry are daughter, we'll talk about this some other time go to bed now, I am very tired." Diomedes said falling asleep.

Iris in her room thinking about what's going to happen in a few weeks or maybe days from now. She hates the idea of marring Cleto. All the girls at the school she used to go to knew about him, and all his disrespecting ways. Iris had to think of ways to be her own hero if her father does not believe her. She knows that her father hates continuous yelling at kicking of other; Diomedes thinks it's very immature. Iris thought of a plan to get her father very mad at Cleto to call off the wedding.

The next week past on as a usual day. Evening came to the city of Sparta on the last day of that week. Iris and Aglea were in the kitchen cooking an amazing huge dinner for their special guest. Diomedes is upstairs getting ready for the day of the dinner; he is well excited to introduce his guest to his wife and Aglea.
