How the world might look like in 2020?

Introduction

The Venus Project is a project devised by Jacque Fresco in 1975. He didn't agree with one existing government, because they will destroy our world eventually. Jacque wants to stop all kinds of government and wants to change the world dramatically. He wants to this with a design, which he calls, a 'resource-based economy' .A 'resource-based economy' is a new socio-economic system. First of all, in this system all the money in the world would mean nothing, and all the people will be equal. Everything would be managed with a computerized automatic system that tracks all the resources on earth. They offer goods and services, which the citizens can order. All the goods, that would not be used, will be recycled. The whole system is based on resources and is already possible with the technology of today. This is different from the existing system. In this society people will live longer, healthier and would enjoy life more.

''There will be a new system. No political, economic or social system that is ever used before. This is an alternative vision of a sustainable world''.

Institutions and organizations

The institutions and organizations will disappear or become non-profit.

First of all in this new system all the money in the world will become irrelevant, and all the people will be the same. Together they can create a world which has enough for everyone. This is possible with the existing resources in the world and the highly technologies that already exist and this all is free of debt.

With the intelligent of science and technology that we already know, the people on the earth can make the future together while protecting the environment. We don't have enough money to accomplish this, but we do have more than enough resources.

There is no need for a leader in this world. So no king or queen, president or prime minister. Largely there are people who are solving problems and teaching others who have less experience. The so-called leaders that have been there, didn't give as the importance thing of life. Like, how to produce more food per acre without ruining the soil? Have they ever brought us inventions such as electricity, automobiles, energy systems or a washing machine? Of course they were not totally unimportant.

Legal Changes

The current money based economy will become a resources based economy, this new economy is in several ways better.

First of all the vision of this world may seem idealistic, but in contrast to the current system this economy is based upon years of study and experimental research. A new system is necessary. There has to come a new system to stop all the threats that we are facing: like overpopulation, energy and water shortages, global warming, ruining our environment, economic crisis etc. Also our current money-based system is not capable of giving everyone a good life, nor it can ensure the protection of the environment. This is because this whole world is based on making money. Businesses aren't entirety to blame; they are forced to work this way in order to survive as a business.

With this resource-based economy we can use existing resources instead of money. And use a computerized system which can track everything in an efficient way. It is a system in which all goods and services are available for everyone without the use of money, credit, or any other form of debt.

To better understand a resource-based economy, you have to think that when all the money in the world would disappear. You still can build everything that a human need. Because you still have your soil, factories, personnel and other resources. It is not money that people require but free access to most of their needs without worrying about financial stuff. In a resource-based economy,
