The relationship between the U.S. and the Middle East is not going to improve. This killing of Osama bin Laden going to cause much chaos and many problems for the U.S. because bin Laden had many followers. Asif Ali Zardari, the president of Pakistan, has done interviews expressing his feelings about the U.S. operation to kill bin Laden. Problems will be caused because Osama left behind the group of al Qaeda. They are going to try and retaliate. Another reason why problems will come is because there were many other people in the Middle East that loved Osama. So they might join on the retaliation.
Although Zardari says that he didn't know of bin Laden's whereabouts in Abbottabad, it has been said that the ISI of Pakistan did. They knew of Osama's whereabouts but they kept it a secret. This means he can come up with attacks just as crucial as the one Osama came up with. plans were found in Osama's compound during the search. This shows that there were already plans to attack the U.S., and now that we have killed their leader it has made the target on the U.S. greater.
There are people in the Middle East that loved Osama. He had multiple supporters in different regions. Some of his supporters were in Afghanistan. The people of Afghanistan are finding it extremely hard to believe that Osama is dead. They are selling videos, posters, and newspapers full of Osama bin Laden. The Palestinian Arabs of Silwan held a rally in honor of bin Laden. Although his death brought cheers of happiness and celebrations to the United States, it brought whimpers
