Once upon a time in a land far away there was a princess. She was no ordinary princess. She was beautiful. But when night fell, her curse awakened. She became an ogre.  Her mother and father made the decision to lock her inside a castle guarded by a fire breathing dragon until this curse of hers was broken forever. But only one thing could break the curse. True loves kiss. Each and every day Fiona waited for her prince charming to defeat the dragon and give her true loves first kiss.  She waited and waited, but to no avail, her prince charming never came. So she made the choice. To wait for her prince, or to live with her curse. If she lived with her curse, she could never go back to her mother and father. And would never be that beautiful princess ever again. With tears in her eyes she had finally realized. No one was coming to save her. She found a dagger and with that dagger, just as the sun set and she transformed into her ogre form, she broke out of her imprisoned room   and slayed the dragon by herself. She left the castle that she had been held prisoner for so long and made the choice to stay an ogre. She had given up on true love. Many years later she could be found with a colony of ogres by her side. She had become something she never thought she would be. But deep inside her heart, even though suppressed, she longed for her true loves first kiss and her happily ever after. On another story there was another ogre. Who lived in a swamp away from everything and everyone . His name was peter. He was different. He lived by himself in a land of which he made his home. One day he was forced out of his home by lord farquad’s army. He was given an amount of time to find the princess Fiona as she had disappeared from her tower or else he would be slain. He accepted and ventured off to find the princess. He traveled very far and long through torturing winds and stormy nights. Until one day he saw a red haired ogre standing on a bridge looking out into the oblivion. He slowly walked over to her. When she heard him she was immediately startled. “Who are you?” she asked him. “My name is peter” he said. At that moment a little part of her knew that he could be her prince charming. “What are you doing here?” she asked him. “Looking for the princess Fiona” he replied. She slowly smiled, now knowing that her prince had finally came for her. He knew that he was looking at the princess, in her true form. He spent days getting to know her, even though she never told him the truth. One day peter was taken by the army as his time was up. Fiona followed secretly. He was lead to a room with a hour glass and just as the last drop of sand was about to fall, he kissed princess Fiona. Then his time was up. As Fiona held him in her arms and cried, the sun began to rise.  But something happened. She didn’t turn back into a princess. She stayed an ogre. “true loves first kiss” she whispered as a tear fell from her face onto his. The curse had been broken. She was meant to be an ogre. Peter awoke and they got married. Finally her happily ever after had come. They both lived happily ever after.
