What I found good about this article is that it givens lots of information on Unix and Linux. The article spends great detail on the security versus the security of Windows. Linux being that it is open source is open to everyone as stated in the article. It is the hackers dream to us Linux to deface machine and be successful at it. Globally the best OS defined in this article was Unix and Linux. Windows was a mere understudy.
The only thing bad about this article was the fact the it completely focused on Unix and Linux. It gave lots of insight on Linux and barely touched on Windows. You can tell in this article that the main subject was Linux and Linux and the author of article was a Unix lover.
I'm actually want to remain neutral on weather I agree or disagree on the points mentioned in the article. I recognized that I've been in a windows OS environment for the majority of my life. All I've dealt with was windows. The only thing I see good about Unix and Linux is that it's open source. Plus the fact that Linux security is well more superior to windows. If you're accustom to the GUI and Linux language, it can be the best thing for you. Just not me at this time because of the time I've spent working in Windows.
In the future operating systems will hold regardless of Linux or Windows. The thing to worry about is the security of the OS. Weather your running Linux, Unix or Windows it's the protection you have running with the OS. The type of firewall or antivirus programs is going to be the first step of protecting your organization or corporation.
