This article is focused on the ideal marketing strategies that Tim Hortons can employ, in order to increase the customer value provided to the worker tribe of its customer base. For this tribe the highest priority value items have been identified to be speed of service, consistent quality of the products and low costs. The wide spread availability of Tim Hortons restaurants, the drive thrus and the design that allows on quick service is the next priority here. Though of the least priority, restaurant interiors, tables and chairs and convenient locations of the restaurants also affect the workers who are looking for a 'work lunch' option.

Workers and students are the two most prominent tribes that could influence the growth, profitability and popularity of Tim Hortons. Although both these tribes value product quality and costs, each have a varied interpretation for the same. The challenge would be on how effectively we can increase the customer value to the worker tribe not only through tangible attributes but also through long term orientation.
