According to Maslow's hierarchy, the basic needs did Shank's old boss fail to meet is self-actualization. It is termed to be very much useful and helpful to consider these needs to obtain the most favorable outcomes. These needs are mainly linked with problem-solving, accepting the facts and prejudice. It would be very much effective to meet these areas and to manage conditions accordingly. There stays great necessity to go from forming effective control on the pertinent areas (Long, 2012).

The basic needs of self-actualization is requisite to form reliance on others. The needs have not been met as there hardly stays any involvement with the key task. For doing the same, it is very much necessary to form connection with it. Then only, the best possible results and outcomes can be obtained. It mainly looks forward to helping the business to meet the key and expected levels.

The person hardly shows any involvement with the business. This makes him disassociated and make conditions unfavorable. The business growth should not be overlooked at any cost. It would be very much effective to go about meeting the likely needs. On that basis, the best possible results can also be formed. This turns out to be very helpful to serve the company in an effective way. It would be very much hopeful to make situations highly well-versed and remarkable.

These missing needs can be made out managed by sustaining proper link with the business practices. Along with this, the involvement with the business is very much obligatory. The motivational aspects should also be made considered to obtain the most favorable results. It seems to be very much helpful to meet the key and expected levels. Along with this, the business growth would be ascertained. The goals and objectives can also be made realized and accomplished.

The Equity Theory of motivation is said to be very much useful to form an effective balance in between the key inputs and the outputs. The need of the hour states that the business growth should not be avoided at any cost. It mainly looks forward to help the employees to compare their inputs and outputs. According to this theory, the motivation level is judged on the basis of the equality, impartiality, and justice formed towards them. This would help in forming the most effective and favorable decisions (Long, 2012).
