1. Which chapter has been the most challenging for you and why?

The most challenging chapter in our book so far to me is the newest we are about to begin: Chapter 2 main ideas. Normally when I begin to write a paper it is hard for me to start to come up with an idea of what to talk about. Normally because I have so many ideas forming in my head I can't stop them. When I do find what I am going to write about coming up with the prefect topic sentence that will create a relationship between myself and the reader is hard to come up with. I go through a lot of back and forth until I untimely understand what it is that I want to convey to the reader. I do try a lot of outling and paragraphing, but noting seems to work. So I would just wait until crunch time and then my mind just starts to work hard to finish before it is do.

2. How can the information from the chapter you selected be helpful to your reading in other college classes? Provide supporting details.

This will help me a lot in my other courses I take her at citrus because there are many different approaches the book uses to help me better understand the techniques in coming up with ideas. Such as in the practices, they allow me to learn how to organize the order of how a sentence is supposed to be and when and where the topic sentences are to be placed. And through the heart of Communication I can show exactly how to make a point, support the point s and recognize the point of my story. I have also learned that a main idea has 3 supporting details and one or two main ideas.
