Why are you so obsessed with me?

An unhealthy habit

Obsession is an 8 letter word. He would be on my mind constantly. I would die whenever we randomly meet in the street. He doesn't know me but I know him, well.

When I was in high school understanding my sexuality, I knew I liked guys. I had a few crushes here and there but it was only a crush, an admiration, either because they were good looking or intelligent. The guy who I had a crush embodied both of those characteristics and such a total package. Looking back on my life especially at that moment, I consider it as the most funniest thing to ever happen to me.

I was already in my fourth year in high school and heard stories about a guy who would win in every competition that he participates in, how he would defend flawlessly his investigatory projects during the science fair and he would win first in the press conference. My classmates talked non-stop about him about his achievements. I was amazed after hearing that information, such a person exists? I asked myself. I wanted to see him, observe that guy in that in real life but I never knew what he looked like until my friend showed me a picture of him. My heart jumped, he was so cute I wanted to hug him. I kept it cool since I was still in the closet at that time. My classmates said that he looked like my best friend, I thought so too until I finally saw him.

My classmate joined an extemporaneous speech competition held in Silliman Hall and we went there to support her. When the competition started, I couldn't believe my eyes, he was there in front of me, well on stage sitting. He looked nothing like my best friend, he was way cuter and good looking, according to my crush lenses. I was totally captivated and forgot to support my classmate but he won anyway. Starting that moment I prayed to the Lord God that I would see more of him. Then the science fair came, I worked hard and convinced my science teacher, that I should be part of the people who can go and watch the experiments and I did. I saw a glimpse of him and that made my whole month.

My obsession with him didn't really start there until the moment we almost met. As my senior year almost came to an end , we were asked what colleges we would like to attend,. My sister graduated from the University of the Philippines Cebu and I asked myself why not, I should try and take the entrance exam, spoilers I didn't pass. Anyways, it was the day of the exam in NORSU. I was hanging around with my friends waiting for the exam to start until I spotted a familiar face, it was him, he also took the exam. I became excited and enthusiastic to be there until I had to pee. After doing my business I went
