Why I'm adventurous
Have you ever seen the movie "Indiana Jones"? Well if you have you would know that he is the epitome of an adventurous person. Adventurous means that you love to seek adventure or maybe seek unknown dangers or risks. He risks his life to find lost items, such as the Holy Grail, the lost ark, or the crystal skull. I feel like I am like this in away cause I love to do dangerous things or to go different places.
When I was younger a bunch of my friends and I would always go down to a place called Camp Canyon. While we were down there, we found four secret passageways to the top of the canyon. One of these spots was almost like stairs, and it was super easy to maneuver. There was also one that was really steep but it wasn't too hard to use either. There were two paths that were not so easy. On these you had to climb straight up about thirty feet high. Once you were on top you got a pretty big adrenalin rush from being so high in the air with no rope or safety net to catch your fall. As we were climbing we got stuck with nowhere to go and no one to help. I just knew we had to keep going so I leaped to the next hand hold and grabbed on to a cactus knowing I couldn't let go eventually, I got unstuck and helped everyone else get to the top of the canyon. We all just laughed knowing that we were alright and because of the rush we had from being a little scared.
Another good adventure I had was scuba diving with my family. While we were in Florida we decided to go scuba diving. We all had our licenses and the date was set so we were ready to go. Early that morning we got up, got on the little scuba boat, and set off for the day. Little did we know the waves were terrible and crashing hard. As we were sailing everyone was getting sick from how bad the boat was rocking, and even the captain threw up. It seemed like forever before we got to the right location. We put our gear on and hurried into the water. My dad and I were partners and we started to descend down together. While I was descending I got stuck in a current for a moment and I could tell my dad was laughing at me because of it. When I got out of the current we swam around and saw tons of fish and even a shark lying on some coral. It was pretty sweet.
When I grow up and have more money I want to travel the world. There are so many places to see and things I would love to do. I want to go to Australia because it is supposed to be beautiful. I want to visit their zoos and see a kangaroo and a koala. I also want to scuba dive in the best coral reef on earth which happens to be in Australia. Then I would bungee jump off some big bridge into a river. After visiting Australia, I would go to china to see the Great Wall, old temples, and walk around the town. I think it is adventurous to see how other people's culture is so much different than yours. Europe would be next on my list. Europe has a
