In today's modern world education is the most powerful thing a person can have. Science is a big part of my education. No one can take it from you or use it against you. It is your weapon. It is with science that man went to the moon. Because of science, knowledge, and discovery we are able to enjoy all of our luxuries and activities that we often take for granted. As we progress through time, science continues to grow rapidly.
There are a huge number of fields of science. The scientists who work and apply themselves in these fields work in a variety of places such as universities, hospitals, business industries, government agencies, independent research organizations and scientific associations. Science is important for many reasons. It helps and drives the development of technology.
Through science we progress and develop new ideas and new medicines. It is important because it improves our quality of life, because it helps you make informed opinions and educated decisions about scientific and other issues. It helps us understand how the world operates. My understanding of science is that it is an attempt to understand the nature of existence. Even if one is not interested in science, or learning it, there is no harm in having knowledge and providing our self with information.

Every math problem that gets examined and used, forces us to use many methods of problem solving. Each individual problem is an important lesson for solving problems in general. Everybody uses math and science whether they realize it or not. I realize it, and I appreciate it. "Science or Math is not a sacred cow. Science is a horse. Don't worship it. Feed it." Aubrey Eben
