INTRODUCTION
This assignment is about the Auto Mobile Sector. How and why customers buy product. I.e. we have to predict through our model that what the variables that affect sales of any business.
Independent variables-
1) price-
If we talk about the India, people before buying any product they think much about the price. What is the price of that particular product? They are able to buy or not that product. In Indian people are price conscious. If the price of a product is less and quality is good then the customers are going to buy that in India. By this we mean price is that variable which is having more effect on sales of any automobile company.
2) Design-
Before we buy any car or bike we see the design of that particular product. If the design of the product is good than people will buy if the design is not good then there will be medium or less selling of that product in the market. So Design of that car or product will effect on sales also.
3) Discount/Offers-
Indian people are very price conscious we know, so when any company is giving you any offer or something discount with that product, that product selling will be very high. In Diwali or any festive season Company are doing this. Because they know if they will give some discount or add something with that product people want to buy more. In any festive season the company strategy is discount or offer.
4) Feature-
Models and experiments test or determine the effect that the independent variable have no the dependent variables. Sometimes Independent variables may be included for the reason, such as for their potential confounding effect, without a wish to test their effect directly. Features also impact on this. If any of us wants to buy a car, first we will see what are the features of that product when compared to other car or products. If in that price is given good features then selling will be high of that product. In this model we can say the safety feature of that thing, is they giving air safety bag or not. The glass of that car, how it protects, Upper window of that car etc.
5) Mileage-
Mileage is a very important thing of the any automobile car. Before we want to buy this car or bike wee see what is the mileage of that car or bike. Is the car is petrol car, diesel car or hybrid car. In that people want to buy that car or bike.
6) Model or shape-
Car or bike is different type. Some company make small car, Some are making family car, Some are making Bus, truck etc. So it will impact on market also. Those who need family car they buy that, those who want to business purpose they buy truck, bus etc.
7) Color-
In India we saw the people like the fast color, like white, black.
Dependent variable-
In dependent variable if we talk about the price and sells then when the price is less people want to buy more, so the sale of that car or bike will be increase. Second is design. The car design is effect on sale, now in India everyone is targeting youth, So design should be stylish if the design is good then the car or the bike sell will be high. When we say about the discount/price it’s a very important thing. Most of the people are doing on this business strategy. If the company is giving some discount or extra features in fewer prices then people buy more. So the selling of that car or bike will be high. In fewer prices if that company giving a good features then people buy more and sell will be increasing. If the car or bike mileage is good it’s going long then the sell is increasing. Because people before buying that product this are the basic things which they want. The color is also one of the important things. When we talk about the color then people also prefer for color, what the customer like they want they collor, so if the company is doing also in this thing then the sell will be increasing.
