"Welcome to My Life"

"No, you don't know what it's like. When nothing feels right. you don't know what it's like, to be like me, to be hurt, to feel lost, to be left out in the dark, to be kicked when you're down, to feel like you've been pushed around, to be on the edge of breaking down, and no one's there to save you. No, you don't know what it's like Welcome to my life" -- Simple Plan

Sara is a young lady who adores school and is excited to learn new things. It didn't matter what she was learning.

The library is where Sara would beg her mother to go when she was not in school, after hours of reading books her mother would then pick her up carrying a load of books to bring home and read.

Sara was the type of child that wanted to know everything and then re-tell her family member of the things she has learned spreading the knowledge.

Emily, Sara's mother wanted her to go out and play with the other kids, and to enjoy the beautiful outdoors laughing, having slumber parties and maybe go over to another friend's house.

When Sara did not come running down the stairs rushing to eat breakfast and start reading her books, Emily was worried. Emily called out to Sara, and she did not answer, she knew something was wrong. Emily went upstairs knocking on Sara's door. When entering the room Sara was hiding under the covers silently. "Sara, are you awake? Are you feeling okay? It's time to get up and get ready for school." Sara still did not answer, Emily became worried.

Sara said in a quiet voice, "Mommy I'm not going to school". Why, you love school, thinking she had a fever went to get the thermometer to check her temperature and it was normal. I will call the doctor, Sara said "mommy I'm not sick, I just don't want to go to school".

Emily did not understand, she asked "what are you afraid of, can you tell me?" Sara started crying, Emily holding Sara tightly in her arms. "Sara what's wrong, you love school, please tell me?"

Sara not having many friends did not want to get anyone in trouble. Emily talks with Sara if anyone is bullying you, making you scared of going to a place you love, they are not friends. Emily tells Sara that friends never hurt you; they will respect you, stand by you, and make you feel loved.

We are going to the school and talk with the principle about this, Sara not wanting to be a tattle tale, was hesitant on the plan. The principal is here to make you feel safe in school not to be afraid.

The principal walked into the room where Sara and Emily where sitting. Sara then looked at her mother with fear in her eyes; Emily grabbed Sara's hand that is sweating and shaking
