As a result of going to college for an education, you will have more job opportunities and a higher social class.

Having a college degree basically means you would have a promising future. For instance, you would be prone to more job opportunities. The way you live will have a greater impact verses if you didn't have a college education. The amount of money you make in your career will be based on your college degree level. Also, earning a college education can have an impact on your communication skills, such as talking to important people and knowing how to have an important conversation. You will be able to expand your knowledge and have an opportunity to a new learning environment.

If you have a college education, then consequently you will have more self confidence. You will be able to have more knowledge than an average person who doesn't attend college. For instance, if you have to present a presentation, than it wouldn't have a hard time trying to present. You will have an opportunity to further your education if you want to go back to college at any point in your life. If you just stop after getting your bachelors and decided to go back for your masters or doctorates, it wouldn't take you that long because you have started school already.

For many families, if you're the first one going to college to get an education, than you would start a tradition. If your family members see you going to college and making your future more successful, than they are more than likely to follow in your path.

I believe if you are getting a college education, than you should take advantage of the clubs they have around the campus. There could be clubs dealing with your major or others that may interest you. You also have an opportunity to join sports, which for some will give you a scholarship for joining.
