The College Life

That twelth grade year in high school is so exciting, for most people, they have passed all of there required classess, they have passed the Fcat, and they are just sitting around going to class daydreaming of that big first day of college. There are many ways you can get an idea o how the college life is, even if you never been. There is something called Visual Communication. "The name suggests is communication through visual aid and is described as the conveyance of ideas and information in forms that can be read or looked upon. Visual communication in part or whole relies on vision, and is primarily presented or expressed with two dimensional images, it includes: signs, typography, drawing, graphic design, illustration, colors and electronic resources. It also explores the idea that a visual message accompanying text has a greater power to inform, educate, or persuade a person or audience." This type of communication is often used to persuade students to come to college. 165. This video clip that I pecked comes from a show that was aired in 2009 called college life. This College Life show is a great show for people to watch if they want to get a feel and taste of what college life is all about. In the episodes it shows the different clubs and organizations you can become a part of, also the variety of sorority and fraternity Greek you can participate in. This college life breaks down not just the fun side of college but, the serious side. When I say serious side I mean the getting your education. In the show it shows haw college can be fun and exciting but at the same time you have to keep your grades up, or you can fall behind from being unfocused. Distracted by the late night parties, and clubs. I personally have an experience when I went to college for the first time. My first year attending college was a terrifying event. My first year of college I had to experience loosing a close friend due to excessive partying, and drinking. Her name was Amanda G. she died in a car accident due to drinking and driving. This was a real tragic event. So you see the college life can be exciting, fun, and adventurous, you just have to remember to stay focused, and know your purpose.
