The topic I am leaning more for is more on the conventional agriculture side. I am more for this because I buy it when I go to the store and it is also a lot cheaper; everyone is going through hard times right now and cannot afford the Organic foods because they are far more expensive. Yes the conventional farmers use far more chemicals than organic farmers. The main reason why the organic crops don't use chemicals is to avoid all of the pesticides in the chemicals but they are spending far too much money on other sources when they could be saving money. In the long run they are driving up the farming costs, which does not need to be done. A lot of the farmers are trying to be sustainable. Everyone is becoming more environmentally aware so conventional farming is not as bad as everyone thinks it is. With organic there's not even enough crops out there to feed everyone that is why you see far more non organic foods on the market because there is enough. Which also happens is that it takes far to long for organic farmers to actually grow their crops. When the conditional farmers are more focused on increasing the production and keeping their cost on products as low as possible. Also organic farmers are catering to a niche market, which makes their products desirable to certain types of people.
