Intercultural communication might be the main problems for people from different culture to communication, cooperation, competition and trade. It exist many causes, which is affected by background, culture, nature, religion, education and environment.

The article analyses cause clearly and are divided into different parts, including introduction, the stumbling blocks, language, nonverbal signs and symbol, etc. I like these sub titles, which indicate the main point of paragraph helping people to read and understand easily. In addition, each point gives example to explain in order to remove misunderstands.

The writer mentions that, "the only simple solution seems to be to tell everybody to stay home." It is the joke, but I think many people follow it as same way. It is not the direct approach to solve in order to avoid intercultural communication. The better way is that "if we would communicate across cultural barriers, we must learn what to say and how to say it in terms of the expectations and predisposition of those we want to listen."

The other way mentioned in conclusion is acceptable, that "textbooks are appearing and communication specialists are improving means for increasing sensitivity to the message coming from others in an intercultural setting."

I always use this way to improve and remove block of intercultural communication. However, it should be insisted because a little boring reading will reduce my interest.

On the other hand, the special part is that the writer mentions many people's words as example and evidence to prove its statement. It can be considered as the excellent way to prove statement credibility.
