In this film, there were two groups of test participants: a group who will act as prison guards and a group who will act as the prisoners. The test aims to study the different psychological effects of being in a prison environment, limits of one's rage and aggression over things and how he handles it, and how they will carry out their duties without violence. This was then advertised in a newspaper and by the end of the deal will receive incentive money. By this in mind, the researchers thought that they can have a thorough and meaningful psychological research because of having a simulated prison with rules to follow. But then things gradually change when some of prisoners are already making fun of the guards. The tendency is now for the guards to become more violent and change their personalities. I believe that even though you have an advantage of having authority over a group, there are still limitations on what you can do and cannot. In the end, having our inner self take over us is more of a challenge.

What we usually do when we encounter people is to judge them by their physical behavior and characteristics, seldom the inner ones. That's why we can say that this person is a good friend to be with or not at all. But come to think of it that what we cannot see in a person sometimes is what the person is now. This can be exemplified in the film by Fahd. He usually is not concerned with things around him but then, he helped and made the big change in the other's point of view and the way they see things while having the test.
