Firstly, English people not work overtime, but Chinese people always work overtime. For example, employees often have to work overtime, although the boss does not say directly you must work overtime today. And they maybe will be in the good graces of boss. If you return home on time everyday, boss would feel you don't work hard, and maybe the next person fired is you. So even Chinese employees are not voluntary, but they have to.

Compared with China, people in England don't work overtime and they off duty on time. For instance, we went to Liverpool and went shopping. At five o'clock, I wanted to buy one thing in supermarket, but the salesman told me I cannot to go in because they are closing. English people return from work early and the less work time than Chinese.

And other side is about infrastructure. On the way to the class, everyone was interested in everything around us, and praised the infrastructures on a human scale. And the traffic lights on the streets were examples. Passengers press the button beneath traffic lights when they want to go through the streets, and they could cross when "Walk" sign lights up in a limited time. Passengers not only were safe but also have initiatives, at the same time; it could save unnecessary time for stopping at traffic lights for drivers. And moreover, British government fous on the protection of old architectures. For example, London was a city that has been constructing in the most of time, a British told us; however, the protection and maintaining of historical remains in Britain worth our respect and learning. Hence, we can easily find that there were several historical places in one side and architectures in modern style in the other side in a street here. How sharp contrast is!!! But it was full with a kind of feeling of the development of history.
