In this paper we will discuss the procedures to bring 10 people from different parts of the country for a two day training session. We will document everything involved, including preparation, presenter issues, participant issues, accommodations, and facilities in the plan.
All accommodations have been made for the presenters. The training on MS Project will take place in our corporate conference room. The Presenters are charging $695 for a two day course. Laptops have been installed with MS Project software that the company purchased. Video screen with white board has been checked and is working properly. Student handouts are ready for each student (total of ten students). Employees that will attend training have been confirmed. Extra laptops are available in case one malfunctions or another student is added (two employees are on the standby list). The area where training is conducted has adequate restrooms, vending machines, and a smoke area. Lunch will be served at the local restaurants at cost (several within a ΒΌ mile of facility).Presenters will be provided breakfast and dinner at the hotel (presenters will be provided vouchers for breakfast and dinner).
Confirm the availability of presenters for two day training, once confirmed book flight/accommodations.
Email presenters their itineraries.
Alert presenters the time that shuttle will pick them up from their residence.
Arrange for a shuttle service to pick up presenters from their residence, load luggage, and drive to airport. (Monday).
Have presenters check in at counter or kiosk. Check luggage if they have any and proceed to security check point.
Once cleared through security check point proceed to gate where your plane is departing from.
Board plane when instructed to do so by airline personnel.
Taking all your belongings, walk to your assigned seat, store any carry on bags in the over head bins or under the seat in front of you.
Sit down in your assigned seat and put on your seat belt. Relax and enjoy the flight.
Once plane lands at your destination undo seat belt and gather all your belongings and walk to baggage claim.
Once at baggage claim, reclaim your checked bags if you checked any and go to the curbside where shuttle is waiting for you.
Load bags onto shuttle and take a seat in the vehicle. Driver will take you to hotel.
Once at hotel, take your bags from the vehicle, tip driver, and go to front desk and check-in.
After checking in the hotel carry your bags or give them to bell hop and proceed to your room.
Once you arrive at your room, place the key into the slot and open your door, go inside and bring bags with you. Tip the bell hop if you used one, shut the door.
This concludes your travel day. Breakfast will be served in the lobby Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning between the hours 6 am to 8 am. (Tuesday).
8 am shuttle picks up presenters from hotel lobby for 10 minute drive to corporate office.
Presenters arrive at corporate office at 8:15 and staff is waiting to take presenters to conference room.
