According to TechTerms 2008, Facebook was a social networking site initially intended for the college or university students. It founded by Mark Zuckerberg and his fellow college roommates and fellow students Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes However, Facebook slowly open to the public and the people who age 13 and above can register for an account as long as having an email. Facebook allow users to share their photo, video clips, information and their current status. Not only that, users can also make friends globally. Users manage to contact with each other through the write private messages in the inbox or left message on the "wall" which located in every user's profile. Besides that, users can also chit chat with their friends through the chat box. Facebook also provides mini games for users to relax during free times. Users can play the mini games with their friends online and help each others in the game. Not only for fun and connecting each other, Facebook also allows users to open pages for their businesses. Some of users even start their own online store through the pages and promote by sharing to their friends. Some companies also post their advertisement in Facebook for promotion purpose. However a lot of individuals now a day addicted to this social networking site. This incident cause the individuals become less productive in their daily lives. This incident involves students and successful professionals.

Foe my opinion, Facebook will not lead to individuals become less productive but only if the individuals addicted to Facebook and fail to manage their daily routine. Since Facebook are free to access at the moment, and there are a lot of global information can be known through Facebook, most of the individuals spent a lot of time per day with Facebook (Joe, 2012). For those who can manage their time, they are just using their Facebook to connect with their friends through Facebook when they are free. However, most of student will go online for Facebook after they back from school. If students spend their Facebook time more than doing revision or homework time, it will affect the students' education. Not only students, some of the workers also keep subscript and follow the activities of their friends and the news during their working hours. This lead the companies become less productive from time to time by share the time of their work with Facebook. If this incident continues, this will cause the company hard to compete with other companies and less innovative to produce new products and services. The mini games which need to be play from time to time mislead the individuals to play mini game during the working hours. For those who addicted to the mini game in Facebook, they will play the game until late night.
