how can we even in the worst time of our life we can face difficult situation.
One of my favorite movies is Facing the Giants with actor Grant Taylor. The history is about Coach Kendrick who is having problems at home and on the job. His wife can't have any children, his car is broken and his football team is losing game after game. With faith and trust in God his life gets surprising results.
When his wife was trying to conceive a child for 4 years without any results, Coach Kendrick felt guilty for not being able to please his wife with a family but he understood that God was the creator of all things and only with God's power this will be possible.
Financial struggles were also an issue that Coach Kendrick had to face in this movie by him not being able to afford a new car. His very old car did not want to turn on half of the time, creating conflict at work when he was late.
His Football team was a disaster losing game after game.
Coach Kendrick does an amazing job encouraging his team and teaching them that Christ had to be the center of their life not only in the good days but also in the bad days they could trust in him no matter how big their struggles where. With his faith we can witness in this movie how his life started changing to the best and how God started blessing him even in his worst circumstances by giving him a brand new truck, a child and the best football team!
God will make a way and we should give him the lead to our success and even if can't smile we need to understand that he facing our giants!
