Green is my favorite color. It’s a happy color. When I think green, I think of growth. It represents wealth, rebirth, and safety. What color is a four leaf clover? Green! The color itself seems soothing to me. It’s healing, the color of nature. Say you’re looking out the window on a beautiful spring afternoon, what do you see, an amazing green landscape full of flowers and fully blossomed trees. That right there would make me feel restful. Nothing that is grown outside blooms with color, it first begins green. I look at that process as progress because we obviously know what happens after it is done growing. It blossoms into something beautiful.
In my room, I have a few plants. I have some air plants. I have a money tree, and a bonsai. These three types of plants are just green. They bring harmony to my room. Even if they don’t have that colorful pop flowers would bring, like I said before I like more of a relaxed environment. Usually, if I’m having too much anxiety or feel overwhelmed, I take a walk and maybe catch some shade under a tree. Well the tree is green obviously and you might know it but psychologically, it helps. It is said that the color green creates equilibrium between the head and the heart.
When you mix the color yellow and blue your end result is the color green. The color yellow is filled with joy and good energy. Like optimism. On the other hand, blue is more of a calm and truth color. These combined give you a sense of good or bad, which eventually you result with good judgment. That is exactly how I see myself as a person. I currently drive a green Toyota Camry, and my cited article states that I am trustworthy and well-balanced. I like to believe I am. Here’s a lovely quote I found based on this color, “Green is the prime color of the world, and that from which its loveliness arises”-Pedro Calderon de la Barca
