1.1 Purpose of the Study

1.1.1 Introduction

This part aims to be able to know if a Floro Blue Resource Management System (FBRMS) would be feasible in terms of the benefits it could give to the preferred company which is the Floro Blue Printing Inc. . . . Information Technology really improved how people perform business, as well as how to deal with personal transactions. This technology also has a big influence in today's modern competitive environment by embracing different computer supported services. Information technology is very dynamic and it seeks new ways to give different institutions the ease and comfort to its clients.

The Floro Blue Resource Management System (FBRMS) is a software application for the Floro Blue Printing Inc. to manage the flow of resources. Floro Blue Resources Management System provides capabilities to modeled, analyzed, visualized and optimized by plant information.

Floro Blue Printing Inc. is using manual method for securing and updating of the resources record, this system will lessen their time to update records and also to improve the security of the information of all the resources.

1.1.2 Objective

The goal of Floro Blue Resource Management System (FBRMS) is to secure and update the records of the present and future resource allocation of Floro Blue Printing Inc. With the use of this system this system will lessen their time to update records and also to improve the security of the information of all the resources.

Resources Management System is also capable for securing data inside the storage so that all of the resources will be in proper disposal.

1.1.3 Scope and Limitations

The goal of Resources Management System (FBRMS) is to secure and update the records of the present and future resources of Floro Blue Printing Inc... With the use of this system this system will lessen their time to update records and also to improve the security of the information of all the resources.

The system will not save any information that is not related to the resource management.

1.1.4 Who commissioned it and who did it?

The Floro Blue Resources Management System (FBRMS) is commissioned for the benefits of the Floro Blue Printing Inc. in 3-Timog Avenue. Quezon City, Metro Manila. can use the system as long as they want.

This system can help Company to greatly reduce the improper allocation of resources; they also gain some benefits by using this system such as knowing what the resources are that is still available they will easily see the information that they want to know.

The researcher is John Darie N. Silaba a third year student from Bachelor of Science Information Technology student, studying in Polytechnic University of the Philippines Quezon City.

1.1.5 Sources of information

The source of information of this study was the interview of the OIC of the Floro Blue Printing Inc.

The researcher also used some guidelines of the feasibility report.

1.1.6 Process used for the study

The researcher interviewed the OIC of the Floro Blue Printing Inc. to get some information about the process and the procedures on how they manage and updates the allocation resources.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

Interview The researcher interviewed the Officer In Charge (OIC) of the Floro Blue Printing Inc. to get information about the procedures.

Research / Self-knowledge The researcher searches through the internet, and also searches on how to make a logistics system for Printing Industry so the researcher knows about how the procedures work in the current system.

The figure above shows the organizational settings of Floro Blue Printing Inc. It is compose of OIC, General Manager, Production Manager, Inventory, Secretary and Employee.

1.2.2 Current System

This part gives information about the current system used by the Floro Blue Printing Inc... It describes how the current system works and who are the people operating it.

The present system Floro Blue Printing Inc. is using manual method in keeping, updating and managing of the resources which all of the information is not recorded properly. It will result to additional cost for production management.

Current system is so not that reliable because is not updated when you are evaluating the production cost of the company. It will give you a false result of the information and all of the unrecorded transaction will not be considered a good sign for employee integrity.

It also takes too long to compute the used materials and the production cost.
