Friendship, a noun that plays a very pivotal role in China as relationship, consists of a myriad of components. Even though it is difficult to judge which quality is the most significance one to a great friendship, I would have to say that tolerance, loyalty, trust and acceptance are vital for that reason that there is an issue that occurred around me.
Jeff is my best friend in China. He is also a Chinese. Jeff is his English name. One issue once happened in an unimaginable way. Jeff is a Muslim. Region is unusual in my city. People like trying new things such as making a Muslim friend; however, it is an unquestionable fact that people have to take risks while trying new things. Due to several religious reasons, Jeff and I have completely different views of the world, of men, of life-style, and of themselves, which had resulted in intolerance and a split between us in our high school life.
So here, I want to say that high tolerance is a necessary contributing factor to a friendship. As we know, friends are always are the first to critique work and point out of flaws. Nowadays, we are living in a society with diversity. It is very critical to accept a friend for who they are, but not anything they do must be tolerated. Tolerance and acceptance look like a pair of twins, cleaving together and leaped forth into the world. Jeff and I are back together.
Do you think that tolerance and acceptance are really enough to a good friendship? Definitely not; it is because tolerance and acceptance are the foundation of a friendship as they make the connection between two people, and the more significant qualities are trust and loyalty, which help to make this connection stronger and more solid. Without trust and loyalty, people would be forced to do everything themselves and would become socially isolated. So, as reconciled with each other, Jeff and I have reached a critical consensus that working with anyone you do not have faith in does nothing.
Jeff is one of the most important persons in my life; simultaneously, what happened between us is an unforgettable issue for me, especially when I come to study in the United States. It is very vital to have tolerance, loyalty, trust and acceptance while confronted with diversity and any relationship. It will be a great asset in my life.
