3. One of the interesting things that I found in the museum was the railcar. It impacted me so much, as we were allowed to go inside the railcar and I was inside of the railcar, I just couldn't believe that they would have up to 200+ people trapped in here for days without any food, water. What I also found interesting was that as you were walking up to the railcar there's a concrete wall with quotations of the Houston area survivors. What I also found interesting was just all the history of the Jews and how it leads up to Hitler overpowering everything.
4. 5. Because maybe somehow this will be said to every generation and history won't repeat itself with this awful catastrophe.
6. Maybe as new generations are growing they would only define Jewish people with the Holocaust.
7. One aspect I liked the most was hearing about the survivors stories, it made it much more real that human beings are capable of such cruel things.
8. I learned that the Holocaust Museum keeps its doors opens out of donations from the community; I would recommend this field trip to people who are new to Houston and to Houston residents who have never gone to the museum.
