Product life cycle
* "Every product has a life cycle", in IKEAs production raw materials are processed efficiently and raised carefully, cotton and wood are processed with precautions that in a way are used to produce a variety of products not just one. Manufacturing the products is the most concentrated phase of the product cycle at IKEA the manufacturing phase, workers tend to produce the maximum with the given amount of raw materials, nothing would go to waste .most items that are shipped as final goods are probably made up of recyclable and reused materials. The next stage which is transportation is also of importance to IKEA because their marketing plan wouldn't be successful without having all stages working properly with a balanced manner, transporting their products to stores and to customers(delivery) is different and somehow works preferred by the recipients , IKEAs products are flat packed which allows them to transport products in larger quantities , weather conditions may be a barrier in some countries but products are packaged in a way that doesn't affect them , customer preferences comes first . In the end the presentation of delivery and transporting also plays a huge role in marketing the product.
Timing
* Time is precious and you can't buy time, most companies work on time management to produce, assemble and sell the product. IKEAs timing is organized in a way that the market is always full on stock, and customers always find what they're looking for, transportation wise timing could be unstable due to natural causes and economic causes, but other than that IKEAs time management blends well with the society it is put in with, having every stage well-timed is a pretty hard thing to handle, not all firms tend to put much of caring into timing however IKEA does.
