During the late 1800s Imperialism had its positive and negative effects on the political, economic, and social lives of the people in the countries such as Northern Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Europe especially gained an immense amount of power and wealth from Imperialism. Europe's Dominance, and Eagerness for exploration as well as colonization lead to the start of a new era during the late 1800s and a theme that would continue throughout the world and continues to be a concern in today's society: Racism and Slavery. The Europeans had no idea of this disease and therefor moved most of the Africans to enslavement camps near rivers or lakes causing an outburst of malaria that would eventually kill most of the Europeans and Africans. Diseases, War, And rebielions were a huge cause of the ending of Europe's success and would eventually take over 1/3 of the worlds population.
