- I think Globalization and MNE activities are causing problemes to the world.
They ignore Human rights and basic labour standards, they give low wages at factories, substandard working conditions. Also they have a very waste impact on environment. The best exemple is the pollution that comes with the MNEs. We have to admit, globalization make people live in a better place. However, Some cultures conflicts come with globalization are unintended consequences of international business that we cannot ignore.
- – Better-paying jobs, more profits, and stimulation of the purchases from local suppliers
- Creation of new jobs, enhance local living standards and competition.
- Exporters pay higher wages and provide better benefits than other
- It’s a need because of the costs concerning R&D
Technology help company to by developing new way of conception which are faster and cost less. It permits a better flow of information, especially on the Web.
- Globalization seems as a positive phenomenon in some nations and as
negative in other. But in a larger scale globalization can be seen as the source of economic and social development for a country. Globalization can threaten national sovereignty in various ways. MNE activities can interfere with the sovereign ability of governments to control their own economies, social structures, and political systems. I think we should let the market forces control the market. Indeed, this would enable people taking better decisions.
- (i) → I think People don’t have to be afraid raising problems they are facing in
the roundtable. In comparison, State and federal governments must put some kind of barriers concerning Globalization and MNE’s activities.
(ii) → People should be raised and formed as they can face issues, no matter big they are, and react to them quickly and with efficiency.
(iii) → Nowadays, everything is internationalized, that’s a fact. People who have « assisted » this change have had to adapt themselves. Thus, in my opinion, citizens must be able to work and compete in the global marketplace.
