The acronym ISIS stands for the International Society of Indigenous Sovereigns. The International Society of Indigenous Sovereigns is an Association of Aboriginal Governments specifically on the continent of Amaxum [North America] 8 Aboriginal Nations that comprise the North Amarukan Association. All of the 8 nations comprise the original tribes that are the oldest Indigenous nations on the North American Continent. This fact is based on a prolonged study of ISIS anthropologists studying the ancient epigraphy, glyphs, oral traditions, and cultures of the Aboriginal Black peoples of Ancient North America (Muhammad, 2011). My cultural excursion involved me attending a meeting on the teachings of ISIS and choose this culture to explore based on my minimal knowledge and great curiosity of these people. I have witnessed first-hand, the power in declaring ones birthright and desired to learn more.
My experience with attending a meeting with the members of ISIS was a unique one. It was held in a typical office building on a Sunday afternoon in Stone Mountain, GA. The main purpose of the meeting was to make sure the members where abreast upon the codes, standards and laws of the Indigenous people. The first order of business consisted of reviewing The National Plebiscite operation. The National Plebiscite operation, education, and implementation are the foundational aspects of the work of the International Indigenous Society. The Purpose of the Plebiscite is to properly proclaim the Nationality of as many Indigenous Nationals of ISIS as possible in order to do the work of implementing the teaching of their people that they are the Original Man and Woman of the Planet Earth, and thus have a great right and responsibility to bring solutions to the problems that humanity faces. In order to do this they must be orientated to exactly who they are by nature and politics (Muhammad, 2011). The objectives of the National Plebiscite are; to teach and educate Aboriginal Peoples who do not know that they are Aboriginal, the historical documented facts that prove that they are Aboriginal through various means including genealogical searches done by ISIS anthropologists and researchers (Muhammad, 2011). I understood their objectives, but the information presented after that was a bit confusing for me. I was unfamiliar with some of the terminology being used witch had me a bit lost in being able to follow what was going on. To be able to really grasp the information in this particular meeting, extensive research and conviction to this society would have been required of me.
I was surprised to learn that there meeting spot was an office building and not a separate venue standing alone. Minister Jabari Amen ra Bey accompanied me to the meeting so I would feel more comfortable. The meeting started with fellowship amongst the members before the main speaker started his lesson. The meeting sort of reminded me of church the way the chairs were set up in long aisles and the speaker spoke from a stage into a microphone. The members were nicely dressed with some wearing long robes and fez caps. Their style of dress was similar to Muslims. I noticed their mannerisms and dialog as being extremely respectful and thankful towards women. Every woman was referred to as queen and showed admiration. They believe that women are goddesses because we bear life, so cherishing women is must within the Moorish American culture. Fist on the agenda for the meeting were a review of the few political objectives that are seen as important to Aboriginal Peoples; they were as follows: 1) All Aboriginal Indigenous Peoples and Nations have a right to Autonomous Governments operated and ran by Aboriginal Peoples. 2) All Aboriginal Peoples have a right to live according to their ancient cultural paradigms as long as they respect, honor, and maintain peaceful relations ships with other Cultural Institutions and Nations and Nation States.3) All Aboriginal Peoples and Nations have a right to use of the lands that have been colonized by Corporate Nation State governments including the right to retain the Aboriginal Place names of areas and jurisdictions and the Protection of all property whether it be Intellectual or Physical Property and a right to reclaim lands that have been unlawfully taken. 4) All Aboriginal Peoples have a right to voluntarily choose to be citizens of Corporate Nation States or to not be citizens of such Corporate Nation States.5) All Aboriginal Peoples and Nations have a right to
