IT'S ABOUT THE BIBLE

Before starting my speech, I am trying to tell my personal experience about this.

"変だな" "Hen-Ta-Na" (This is a Japanese). Someday, I've been told this from my roommate when he came back from on his way to smoke outside. He seemed to get embarrassed to some extent. And he asked me in his poor Korean skills, hey brother, he said, is it serious? He asked some people "where can he find a smoking area?" And they didn't mention anything and suddenly started to smoke just over there where they were. Even for me, that sounds like not a big deal. Rather, I wanted to tell him more, when I get into my class every day, how much smoke do I usually inhale just through going into class.

It shows that there is a big difference in the way each perceives this issue. After that time, I could understand what he wanted to say. Because he have smoked only in certain smoking area like smoking booth in Japan, it came to him as shock one. Furthermore, he added that he is uncomfortable. He said smoking outside, in no regulated area made him feel uncomfortable. He doesn't want to make other people feel bad from his smoking. It's exactly his point. Here, I could understand how artificial system for ban-smoking have an effect on their, here smokers', recognition of smoking. It is not about whether is really bad to their or not, but about It's have a bad effect on other people from their preferences.

Wow! Isn't it surprising? It just reminded me of something, it's about the way I usually go through to class, and smoker on that way. I am not trying to say I am angry or something. What I've learn from this is "Hope". It just changed my mind. It's like this, now we have a conflicting view between smokers and non-smokers. Sometimes we worry about smoker's right against newly-complemented laws about smoking. However, the problem we are facing just after implementing ban-smoking in public area in Korea is able to be solve. IT's a manageable one. Try to rethink of my roommate. Their system made their thinking. They did.

In short, according to many other countries' succession cases about ban-smoking all over the world and also from my personal experience, I want to stress that we are all need to keep saying the healthy criticism about smoking. And remember it's for them as well as us.
