INTRODUCTION

Today, People are too engaged in computerized technology aiming to enhance their way of life. In the world of business, sales and inventory system plays an important role. Having this system manually can be now considered obsolete after the birth of the computerized system. Companies use inventory management software to avoid product overstock and outages. It is a tool of organizing inventory data that before was generally stored in hard-copy form or in spread sheets. Inventory control software programs allow companies to monitor the sales performance of certain goods at different price points, stock control can also be used to ensure that the funds of the business are not spent on unnecessary products that are not needed. It is also used to assist if a problem arises with supplies.

In De Castrence Paint Center and Construction Supplies started around 2008 the company started for the owner’s husband because he has a background or experience on a construction business and now they are 8 years of business. In 8 years, they sell at least 100 products and items from paint to material supplies.

The store needs an enhanced sales system to accurately assess the demand for individual products, enabling them to make accurate purchase-ordering decisions and minimizing shortages and maximize sales. Having this Inventory process computerized will also lessen the paper works done by the employee. The company can also maximize the office space because they could get rid of their big and bulky filling cabinets.

Thus, the store is also in need of an effective inventory control to ensure inventories of the right items in the correct quantities. When the store overstocks, money is waste since procuring, storing, and accounting for unneeded items require time, space, and money which could have been used on more critical assets. Likewise, when under stocking occurs the company will more likely to only partly meet their client’s demands possibly not meet the client’s demand at all. Also, a weak inventory control system is more prone to errors and fraud. So, that’s why Companies develop safety procedures for warehouses and stockrooms to ensure safe handling of products and physical safety of workers.
