IPhone 4 VS IPhone 5
It seems now that the device that happens to be the talk of the town is the iPhone. It really doesn't matter which model you have, just as long as you have one. But the real question is placed on the latest version and the previous version of the phones. Is the iPhone 5 really better than the iPhone 4, or is it just basically cosmetic related. I myself just brought an iPhone 4 and I personally think I got a better bargain and I will explain why.
Ok, so let's look at what features the IPhone 4 has. The iPhone is available in black and white. The phone is 4.5" tall and carries a more sophisticated look than the previous version which is the iPhone 3G and 3GS. The iPhone is 0.36" thick and weighs in at 137g. The screen on the iPhone is a 3.5" LED-backlit IPS TFT, capacitive touch screen, and has 640 x 960 pixels and nearly 330 PPI pixel density. Due to the high resolution and pixel density Apple markets the new display as "Retina Display". The iPhone 4 has a scratch-resistant oleo phobic surface for protection. When it comes to sensors the iPhone has an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate, three axis gyro sensors and a proximity sensor for auto turn-off. Also the back display of the phone is a scratch-resistant glass black panel.
The Apple iPhone 5 has many characteristics the iPhone 4 does not have; for instance the new iPhone 5 has facial recognition which I think is a really cool thing to have on a phone. The back of the phone has backside illumination. The Apple iPhone 5 is said to have 44 percent better color saturation than the iPhone 4. The Apple iPhone 5 uses a unique glass coating that makes the display scratch resistant. I think that's a feature that a lot of phone holders would enjoy. Apple CEO Tim Cook claims that this is the most advanced display panel in the world.
Although the iPhone 4 and 5 have similarities, they are very much two different phones, with different characteristics. For example the Apple iPhone 5 is said to run twice as fast as the iPhone 4S while the Apple iPhone 4 is powered by 1GHz Cortex A8 processor on top of Apple A4 chipset with PowerVR SGX535 GPU and 512 MB of RAM which makes the iPhone 5 almost four times as faster (www.differencebetween.com). Another difference between the devices is that the Apple iPhone 5 runs on the Apple OS 6, while the iPhone 4 runs on OS 4, the iPhone 4 is upgradable to the OS 6. The Apple iPhone 5 has an 8MP camera that can simultaneously capture 1080p HD videos and images with panorama while Apple iPhone 4 only has 5MP camera that can capture 720p HD videos. The Apple iPhone 5 is taller, thinner, and lighter than the iPhone 4. Last but not least the Apple iPhone 5 has 4G LTE connectivity while the Apple iPhone 4 only offers 3G connectivity.
As you can see that there are a lot of pros and cons when selecting which iPhone to purchase. I do not see that much
