Remember when cellular devices were first entering the stream of trends? The palm-sized Nokia's, flip Motorola Razr's, and decked out T-Mobile Sidekick's were the most popular items on the market. Now, there is a vast amount of different phones that attempt to do it all. The competition between phone companies and producers is fairly high due to the constant creation of smart phones every day. Apple Inc., one of the biggest technological corporations in the world, is the master-mind behind it all. Apple's creation of the iPhone basically began the journey of smart phones and is still one of the best-selling products that a large amount of society cherishes today.

If the phone industry were a jungle, Apple Inc. would be considered a lion because of its top of the line, groundbreaking, technological features. Apple's reputation towards people of all stands high with its magnificent products of electronics and such. Taking ownership in a Dell or Sony laptop is not taken with pride as much as owning an Apple Macbook. Its kind of the same when it comes to the iPhone--its product value and characteristics are higher than owning an Android operated phone. The visuals of the 3.5-inch touch screen captivate the interest of the customers, along with a user-friendly interface. With the touch of a single button, the iPhone offers a variety of diverse applications designed and provided through the iTunes store. The thousands of applications available through the store leads oneself to believe that Apple Inc. holds ownership to the statement, "There's an app for that!" Advanced technological features do not take away from the simplicity of the phone. Basic functions such as checking an email, browsing contacts, or even making a phone call are as easy as can be. An advantage of the iPhone is being able to have a built-in iPod. Although many other phones have mp3 features, the iPhone offers a more organized and casual way of presenting itself. The iPhone showcases itself as a progressed, high quality device that offers plenty of productivity available to the user. It has now been about 40 years since the cellular phone was first introduced and in less than 4 decades, human kind has transformed a simple phone call-making device into a revolutionary commodity that helps people all around the world complete daily task easily and effectively.
