how critical is external appearance to young people? Marketers who know more about their lifestyle,goals,and trends,advertise products and commercials that relate to the way adolescents look,among any other life factor. Marshal Cohen as a senior industry analyst agrees with creating an environment based on a specific visual aspect that relates to a certain group of people. By doing so,employees also have to have some type of relation with the customers as well as an attractive complextion to represent the brand. As a judgmental society,good looks are highly favored in which the consumers seem to look up to. I sympathize with Cohens argument because it is important to set a certain standard on how an employee should look.

Employing someone for their outer appearance I would say is beneficial to the job field because it reduces the standards in looking for the best fitted employees. By following the regulations a job provides,which are government based,implies that looks are a part of the policy."If someone came in with a pretty face,we were told to approach then and ask them if they wanted a job",stated Mr.Serrano(Greenhouse5).

Businesses want to set a professional workplace for their customers knowing that it's a competitive industry which demands them to be a little more assertive on how someone should appear. Let's be realistic, a store with an attractive environment would enhance more customers rather than a less attractive setting and this is only done intentionally.

Marketers know good looks are favored,do why not have "good looking gals" wear their products. This is exactly what they're leading to. "Being able to find a brand enhancer,or what I call a walking billboard,is critical. It's really important to create an environment that's enticing to the community,particularly with the younger,fashional market.
