methods of disproportionality, data, cultural bias, recommendation for legal
support, as well as limitation on the research done in the article. A study that
shows that African Americans are most of the population in the welfare system
and this should raise concern in African American communities.

and the consequences of incompetence. It is important for people to understand
we have one of the best child welfare systems in the world, and how we can also
improve our standards.
The article had a few questions that make us evaluate and think about why our
society is in a cultural competence. How much time do you spend with people of
different culture? How comfortable do we feel when we are the minority in the
situation? How much time and knowledge do we spend in understanding people
of different ethnicity or culture?
