Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
November 23, 2016
Dear Clea Marie,
Hello, how are you? I hope you're doing fine. I heard that you wanted to know more about Malaysia. I am going to tell you few things about Malaysia.
I am currently living in Kuala Lumpur, which is the capital city in Malaysia. In Kuala Lumpur, there are so many buildings where administration (business) often held in here. Calamities such as flood always happen in Kuala Lumpur.
There is always heavy traffic in Kuala Lumpur. I think this is because of workers going to their work place in Kuala Lumpur, students going to their school with their parents' vehicle, vans or busses, and public transports.
For students that have problem in transportation, some school provides vans when going to school and going back home. There is monthly fee for the vans. Some school does not provide vans, so the students have to go to school and go home by busses. Those who do not have problem in transportation, they will go to school and go home with their parents' vehicles.
Malaysia has many types of traditional foods. One of it is nasilemak. We often eat nasilemak during breakfast. But it is good at any time too. Other than that, we have rendang. Rendang is a chicken that cooked with curry mixed with local spices.
About society, in Malaysia, we have five races living here-- Malay, Indian, Kadazan, Iban and Chinese. The national language is Bahasa Malaysia but we also speak English with each other too. Islam is the main religion here..
That's all! I hope to see you again. Good luck to your studies!
