Learnings On, Before and After the Work Immersion

        Learnings are important for the immersion trainee for her to grow holistically. Before the work immersion started, the immersion trainee learned how to organize things and have a schedule for everything. It started when she was searching for the company where she will take the work immersion. With this, she realized that searching was not an easy task and requires a lot of effort and time. Also, to be punctual was a lesson for her; due to different deadlines she appreciated the importance of time management especially in fixing all the requirements needed.

        During the work immersion process, different learnings in different aspects were acquired by the immersion trainee. She learned how to groom herself well to have a pleasing appearance for others.  Also in the field of work, she obtained a lot of knowledge by experiencing the job of an office clerk. Above all the aspects, what she thinks the most important is the learning of interaction. She discovered that good personality plays a vital role in dealing with other people such as the management, other employees and particularly to the clients.

        The work immersion was done but the learnings will remain and will be used for future purposes. After accomplishing the training, the work immersion trainee understood the life of an employee. She learned how to adjust herself into different things and adapt to the new environment. She also knew that the real world was different and challenging than she was experiencing inside the classroom. On the other hand, it was still a good experience that gave her wisdom and knowledge which she can use for her future.

Problems Encountered On, Before and After the Work Immersion

        

        Problems in different aspects are inevitable so solutions must be present always. For the preparation for the work immersion, the immersion trainees had a little problem in their first visit of the company they are inquiring. When they got there, the general manager was not around but luckily, the operations head was the one who entertained them and signed the recommendation letter. When it comes to the requirements needed, she had no problem at all since the company needed only few documents and she submitted all the requirements on time.

        In the work immersion process itself, the immersion trainee had no problem at all due to the fact that the company together with the other employees and the general manager herself gave her and her other co-trainees a warm welcome. When it comes to relationships, the employees were very friendly, generous and kind in explaining different things such as the facilities and documents in the company. The only problem she encountered was the tasks given for trainees. Since the company was not too big and the work immersion was scheduled not on the busy season, there were days that the trainee has nothing to do at all. It was not a big problem at all but it was unexpected because she used to do a lot of work in her first week.
