Dear Ms. Goler,
In your letter to all of the students, you clearly illustrated that you pride yourself as a teacher that doesn't ask her students to do what you are not doing yourself. That shows me your love for teaching and at least shows the rest of your students that you are a fair teacher. Personally, I pride myself on being a student that will always get his work done on time and to the best of his abilities. This is my first homework assignment of this class, and I promise that turning in this paper will be the first thing I do when I walk through your classroom door on September 7, 2011.

I am going to be the starting linebacker and tight end on the Junior Varsity team, and I am going to be on special teams for the Varsity squad. I am the only Sophomore in the school that has a spot on the varsity team. My favorite sport is baseball. I have been playing all year around for the ABD Bruins. ABD is a travel team organization that was shown to me by my cousin Christian Yelich. Christian was drafted out of high school in the 1st round of the 2010 MLB Draft by the Florida Marlins and is currently the number one prospect in the whole organization. He is a role model for me showing me that with hard work comes great accomplishments. I currently
