Defining Marketing

What comes to a person's mind when the word Marketing comes up? Marketing is a word that is used every day in a organization. The word marketing has so many definitions that one can use. According, ( Kotler, P. 2009 ) the best definition that best describes the word marketing is identifying organization objectives satisfying services and meeting the customer's needs. A person might say that the word marketing only means to sell a product.Marketing does not just mean to sell products it means to care about your customers and sell them the best products. When managers are trying to market a certain product to their customer, they first want to make sure they know everything about that product. Managers want to make sure that they are selling the best product to their customers. Marketing is very important in organizations and without marketing; the company cannot make money, promote new products or be successful in their business. Marketing is always used every day in an organization. Marketing is the key in making organization be successful. When managers are trying to make money and make their company stand out this is where marketing comes in. The purpose of this paper is to explain the importance of marketing in organizational success. One will provide at least three examples from the business world to support their explanation.

The importance of marketing in organizational success is very important. Everyday organizations always want their business to achieve the best in their sales or try to sell and market a certain product. When the manager or the CEO that is over the biggest bank industry such as Bank of America they are always trying find a way to sell a new product to their customers. Marketing is very important to big organizations in how they make money and how they make their company to aim higher. In today's business, a 100 percent of companies are always trying to find a way for their business to market new products. When managers are working for a big organization, it is always something that their company must sell in order for their business to achieve well. When organizations are trying to market a new product for their company, they must have the best knowledge and the best business research on their product (Kotler, P. 2009).

It is very important that employees now their product very well so they will be able to sell it successful to their customers. Employees need to make sure that they know the right information about their product. If the employees know all the information about the product, it will help them to be very knowledgeable. Marketing will always be important to a big organization because it will help the company to promote new products and keep their sales up. If an organization does not know how to market their product for their company, then their business will not be successful.

In organizations, every day the manager's number one focus for their company is marketing new products and keeping their customers happy. Managers also want to make sure their customers have the best products. It is very important that managers know how to sell their products to their customers.
