The one single person who has made a tremendous impact on my life happens to be my mother, Carmen . She is a woman who is very strong-willed, strong minded, but yet the most down to earth person you will ever meet. She stands up for what she believes in and her family always comes first no matter what. That is what I love about her.

When I'm down or upset about something, my mother is always there to pick me up. She always knows what to say to make everything better. She is the type of person that always thinks, "The glass is half full, not half empty." When I'm dealing with a tough situation, whether my opinion is right or wrong, she always stands by me. On the other hand, there are times she is forced to show me a little "tough love." I understand that a mother sometimes has to do this so that it teaches the child life lessons. Regardless, her love is completely unconditional.

Since my mother never got the chance to finish her education, she strongly encourages me to move forward with mine. She constantly reminds me how important a college education is. My mom wants for her children to have the best life possible. With her support, and guidance I plan to achieve my goals by going to college and furthering my education. She has instilled values that will stay with me for the rest of my life. i would never be able to thank her enough for everythinng shes done for me.
