' A lie of mother '

Saying something with disregard of truth is a type of deception that we would like to call it 'lying'. Whenever we lie, it means we have intention to deceive other -- repeatedly, even it is not necessary. Time after time, telling every little lie can cause a snowballing effect and haunt one's life. Worse still, lies can hurt your beloveds because they will definitely feel betrayed. That is why we all hate it when we are being lied to. However, there are some affairs trying to tell a difference that 'lying is an indispensable part of making life tolerable.' Sometimes, we should look back and find out the intention of the "liar".

When the day I first entered the kindergarten, I gave a low cry and rejected to change my school uniform in the morning. At that age, I could not bear to stay away from the embrace of my mother even for a second. Moreover, that fear of staying alone came with me since I was once trapped in a closet for an accident. This experience is a lifelong nightmare to me. After that, i failed to stay alone for doing anything. I did think that my mother is my only life belt that keeps me calm and peaceful.

At that time, I ran hundred steps to follow my mother whenever she laid me down to the ground and acted as she was running away. "Mommy, please don't go," I grabbed her skirt and waved her hand lightly. However, she just looked at me silently for a while and then turned abruptly and walked away. I could not help but cried and whined with snuffling as loud as I could. Suddenly, she ran back quickly with something on her hands. She gave me a baby bib and tied it on my neck, said, "After you count down ten to one, I will go into this baby bib with the help of fairy's magic. I promise I will stay with you in whole day long,". It sounded so true and made me believed in every word of it. I looked into her eyes and I saw the glitter in her eyes. In response to me, she stared on me firmly and held my arms tightly. I felt insecure a moment before, but I was still encouraged after hearing her promise. As a result, I held the bib and dared to step inside the classroom alone. With the soft smile of the teachers and other children, I started to know that I could stay fine myself until the end of classes, just with a belief on my mother's "promise". After the school, I came home with my mother and told her the school trivia happily. Afterwards, I adapted the school life with myself and felt grateful to my mother's lie.

When someone tells a lie, we have better to get a clear understanding of the reasons behind. For most of the time, people are telling lies with good intention that is to avoid hurting others' feeling. Those white lies make us feel a whole lot better whenever we cannot
