"Production and Consumption"
There are different ways of being a producer in this country and many people take on several of those roles. This paper will discuss how two different ways that we produce the things we need for survival. In retrospect, this paper will also discuss how the items that we produce are consumed and some of the habits that people have that fuel the need for increased production. One thing that people can do to help is become stronger producers then consumers. This can be done in some a lot of different areas, and doing so will help to decrease the demand for the limited supply.
First, This country and humans in general is their need for travel. Humans need for travel consists of several different modes of transportation. Planes, Trains, Cars, motorcycles and bicycles are all modes of transportation that people rely on. So the production of automobiles has changed over time. Automobiles started with only a few different models being made. And the same model would be made year after year with little to no changes made to the model. Now, Automobiles are made at a rate of more than one every single second of the year. Cars (or automobiles) make up approximately 74% of the total motor vehicle annual production in the world. There are also many people who want the best and brightest thing out there and will keep a vehicle for only a couple years and then switch. There are others that will purchase a vehicle and keep it for passing it down to children when they are ready for a car. I know people that purchased a new car when their child was only eight years old and in eight years that car became the childs first car. This is a great way to control consumption. "Some leading economists are starting to tackle the issue of overconsumption, but the problem and its cures are tough to analyze. And, of course, there are the vexing problems of consumption of people in poor countries." (Turk & Bensfi 2011 ) Are vehicles being over consumed, or are they just keeping up with populations growth? It is the population growth that determines so many different things that happen in this world.
The second form of production that we have an opportunity to participate in is farming. For example, there is a family that lives in Virginia and the
