Why is nutrition important?

We ask ourselves; why is nutrition important and why does our body need it? Well, proper nutrition and a lot of adequate sleep can become a healthy growth (Papalia, Olds, Feldman, p. 127). Our first year of life, this is what we all need to grow in a perfect condition. A good mother always gives their newborn infant the best nutrition that they can give. By doing, so they can grow as a strong baby and giving the new born their nutrition's. They would be mature sexually and attain maximum height earlier and their teeth erupt sooner than we think it would. During their toddler-hood period, it's a stage that we all know that our child has great appetites The only way to see this type of great development is when a child grew up by getting fed with nutrition's and the best part of getting that nutrition is by breast feeding.

Breast-feeding can be the ultimate health food for new born while growing. It can turn your newborn to a super baby. It gives physical, cognitive and emotional. "Mothering from the heart" it says that breast-feeding makes you feel good, the hormones produced during nursing have an endorphin effect giving you a relaxed feeling" also "breast-feeding saves moms about 7 hours a week off their feet" (motheringfromtheheart. com). It also mentioned adding cow's milk to an infant's diet should be delayed until after its first birthday (Rudolph, Kamei, and Overby).

Most infants are ready to begin "iron-rich solid foods... gradually between ages 6 to 12 months" (Papalia, Olds, Feldman, 2008, p. 148). The variety and quality of these foods is essential to proper growth and development of children. As stated by Papalia, Olds, and Feldman (2008), "children grow faster during the first three years... than they ever will again" (p. 145). Understanding the impact and influence of proper nutrition on the development of young children makes tremendous differences in their quality of health and wellness.

What is malnutrition? According to the article by Lamarca & Landry, P.C., they defined malnutrition as a dangerous illness that can affect people of all ages. However, many of the effects of an unbalanced diet can intensify with age (lamarcalandry.com). Why is malnutrition danger? With
