1. Executive Summary

QQNet, unlike a typical cafe, will provide a unique forum for communication and entertainment through the medium of the Internet. QQNet is the answer to an increasing demand. The public wants: (1) access to the methods of communication and volumes of information now available on the Internet, and (2) access at a cost they can afford and in such a way that they aren't socially, economically, or politically isolated. QQNet’s goal is to provide the community with a social, educational, entertaining, atmosphere for worldwide communication.

The business intends to obtain finance from external equity in the amount of ₱2,858,379, for which the application will be for commencing work on shop renovation, equipment purchases, and as operating cash flow. Preliminary capital injection has already been secured by the initial owners, Michael Doria and Khellie Marrie Narita, in the amounts of ₱1,131,461 and ₱714,594 respectively.

1.1 Objectives

QQNet’s objectives for the first three years of operation include:

• The creation of a unique, upscale, innovative environment that will differentiate QQNet from local net cafe.
• Educating the community on what the Internet has to offer.
• The formation of an environment that will bring people with diverse interests and backgrounds together in a common forum.
• Affordable access to the resources of the Internet and other online services.

1.2 Keys to Success

The keys to the success for QQNet are:

• The creation of a unique, innovative, upscale atmosphere that will differentiate QQNet from other local coffee shops and future Internet cafes.
• The establishment of QQNet as a community hub for socialization and entertainment.
• The creation of an environment that won't intimidate the novice user. QQNet will position itself as an educational resource for individuals wishing to learn about the benefits the Internet has to offer.
• Great coffee and bakery items.

1.3 Mission

As the popularity of the Internet continues to grow at an exponential rate, easy and affordable access is quickly becoming a necessity of life. QQNet provides communities with the ability to access the Internet, and share Internet experiences in a comfortable environment. People of all ages and backgrounds will come to enjoy the unique, upscale, educational, and innovative environment that QQNet provides.

Company Summary

1. Company Background

QQNet, soon to be opened at J.P Cabaguio Avenue Davao City, will provide the public free access to the Internet and a special and innovative environment. Individuals of all ages and backgrounds will QQNet appealing. The staffs of Jedi Café provide not only top quality service but also helpful instructions to customers in computer usage. This educational aspect will attract elderly customers and youngsters who do not own computers at home. The easy access location also provides residents in the same area convenience to their gourmet and online needs.

1. Resource, Facilities and Equipment

The primary equipments used in this kind of business are computer sets printers, Xerox machine the comfortability and relaxation of costumers and at the same time, it can provide high quality service for their needs.

The one who gives service are the owners themselves.

QQNet Cafe will be privately owned by Chary Mundiz, the founder and CEO, and Michael Doria, Khellie Marrie Narita, Arl Jhun Rendon and Arthon Perales, are the shareholder.

1. Social Responsibility

The business minimizes the use of electricity or energy such as, the use of air condition in a cool weather. The use of electricity if it is not needed is prohibited and using an alternative is allowed, for example instead of using air condition electric fan can be a substitute to it. The owners is well trained to avoid mishandling of the equipment and to provide high quality service.
