Refresher Educational/Business Courses were screened against the following guidelines:
1. There are enough training and educational opportunities within the company or regionally for all non-professional jobs. Therefore, we encourage you to restrict participation in refresher educational or business assignments to professional jobs.
2. Assignments are to be recommended for courses that are not available within the company in classroom or through e-learning format.
3. All provisions for Refresher Education Courses or Business Assignments are met as stipulated in the related GI, or the IR manual.
4. To encourage self development, the candidate must have shown some initiative in benefiting from learning opportunities within the company such as those available through distance learning, online courses, CD-Rom, internet, intranet, other forms of e-learning or through specialty courses, microcomputer training, management, and other opportunities.
