Superman Adventures
As Superman was going to Spanish class he wondered how he could retain all of the new words he was learning. His Spanish teacher said that he uses the Left Hemisphere part of his brain. That really interested Superman so he decided to go on a journey to learn about the functions of the brain.

When Superman went to his gymnastics class he asked the coach what part of the brain he was using to do all of his tricks and the coach told him that he was using his Right Hemisphere. The right hemisphere he was told helps you with your coordination.

When Superman had to go to the eye doctors the doctor told him that when he sees he uses his Occipital Lobe part of the brain. That part of the brain helps him see.

When Superman was in music class he asked the teacher which part of the brain he used to hear music and his teacher told him that he uses his temporal lobe to hear.

As Superman was playing the a memory card game he asked his mom what part of the brain he was using and she said that he was using the frontal lobe.

When Superman was at lunch he asked the lunch lady what part of the brain he was using while eating and she told him that he was using his Parietal Lobe.

Superman was working on his speech for the city and he asked his speech instructor what part of the brain he was using and she said he was using Corpus Colosseum. The part of the brain that helped you speak.

Superman asked his science teacher what the Thalamus did and he said it was like the messenger between the lower brain centers and the cerebral cortex.

Superman was in his biology class and asked the teacher what part of the brain was used for digestion and he told Superman that it was the hypothalamus.

Superman was sitting and watching old home movies of him as a 5 year old and he told his dad that he remembered that day and his dad told him that he remembered because of the hippocampus in his brain. The hippocampus helps him with his long term memory.

Superman has this friend and his name is Spiderman and Spiderman has convulsions a lot at The School of Superheroes. Superman decided to ask Spiderman what convulsions were. Spiderman told him that they were seizures where his muscles would tense up.

After superman learned about all of the different parts of the brain and their purpose he wondered how his brain could tell the body all these things. So he set off to ask his local doctor. Doctor Wonder Woman told him that the brain stem is the main man that tells the body what the brain wants to do.
