Social networking becomes very popular nowadays especially among teenagers. Online social networking provides them a space to communicate virtually with others people. They can stay in touch with friends and families from the remotest areas of the globe. They can keep their relationship with relatives closer although they reside far from one another.

Every online social networking user will have their own purpose to use it as some want to make friends, to search for long lost people, and gathering old mates. A research conducted in 2008 by Thelwall, states that, females place more emphasis on maintaining social relationships and males place more emphasis on instrumental uses such as making dates. Other than that, people also use social networking for finding jobs, doing business and expanding their businesses. According to a director, Tommy Reid (2008), " using networking we can expand easily. That is the key to establishing a successful online business is being visible to other people outside your network"

Online social networking also has its own advantages. Among them is using online social networking we can share our interest, our works or anything else with our friends on the site. We also can know other people interest

and when we found someone who has same interest with us, we will be happy to talk about it.

Besides, using social networking site also we can make new friends from all around the globe. This is because there is no boundary in internet connection and there are too many people from different countries who are using social networking sites. When we become friend with them, we can ask anything about them and from that, we can learn something from them.

As stated by Waranya Yoosuan(2006), "There are millions of people using the internet worldwide, so it is very profitable to learn different cultures, different languages and different personality which could benefit youth in living their lives."

Using online social network, we can describe about ourselves and from this, we can find old friends when they read about us. We can have chat with them or with our new friends for free, no need to wait too long for them to reply our message.
